Our family has always been fond of snow, but living in Minnesota has taken that fondness to new heights. It has also taught us a lot about survival in these really cold climates. Let me just share a few things we have learned during our first winter in the land of 40 below:
When it snows, and snows, and snows, you're going to be doing a lot of this,
and that.
That is until you get smart enough to purchase one of these.
Then once you purchase one of these, you have more time to spend on this,
(Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Hoskins for the great Christmas present!)
doing this,
and that,
and this,
and that.
So, the long and the short of it is that in order to survive this crazy winter, you need a snow blower and a winter hobby--both of which we've managed to acquire this year. These make living in the really cold that much more bearable. That, and of course, a lot of this.
