Seminary at Year End

What an incredible year we have had this year in seminary.  I will never forget this class and the many adventures we had as we learned about the Savior this year!  Thank you everyone for your beautiful testimonies and for helping to kick off everyday in the best way possible!

Leaves, Roots, and Stems

What is a day in home school science class without cooking up some leaves and learning abou how plants "drink" by watching them absorb colored water!

Mother's Day

This year Mother's Day had some unique twists and turns.  Dear little Spencer came up with the most creative Mother's Day activity I've ever seen.  He invited me to his personalized "gun training" complete with animal targets borrowed from our family stuffed animal zoo.

                        Then we made homemade pasta together and I didn't even have to do any cleaning up.

It was a great day, and I'm so grateful for the four beautiful people that made me a mother!

Seminary Sunrise

It's finally getting late enough in the year that I'm starting to see a hint of sunshine creep above the horizon as I pull into the church parking lot for early morning seminary.  In fact, this morning there was the most beautiful sunrise creeping over the top of the temple.  The photo I took with my phone doesn't do it justice, but it was picture perfect with a pink and yellow sky as the backdrop for the glowing temple and the newly blossomed trees and flowers.  It was like a little gift from heaven as I went in to teach my class.
