Fall is in Full Swing!

Well, even though we don't have any children who were old enough to start school this Fall, the changing of the seasons and the start of school for everyone else still seemed to initiate a time of busyness for our little family. Here are a few photos of the kids engaged in their activities of late.

Madison on her first day of Dance Class.

After the lesson she ran out of her classroom, threw her arms around me, and thanked me over and over again for letting her be a real ballerina. She also told me that she had to stop in the middle of class and whisper in her best friend Abbie's ear that she was having so much fun! In addition to dance, Maddi also does one-on-one daily learning time with me and attends an all girls play group for the nine little girls in our ward that missed the cut-off for kindergarten this year but will be attending school next fall.

Spencer on his first day of preschool.

As did Madison, Spencer is attending a preschool co-op run by a group of LDS Rochester moms rather than going to a public or private facility. Since Spencer has never done anything like this without his big sister, we're thankful that the first two months of preschool will be held at our home. And just like Maddi, Spencer has been thrilled to have his own activity to attend. In addition to preschool, Spencer has also had a little park/play group we've been attending that will hopefully morph into an indoor group once the wintry weather appears.

Emma attached at her mother's hip.

Well, you didn't think I was going to send my 18-month old off to some baby gymnastics or whatever mother's enroll their babes in these days. Nope, she's just attached to my hip as always. Who knows what she will do when her new baby brother arrives? I think she will take the new addition harder than our other two did. For now, however, she remains my little side kick when the Maddi and Spence are gone or busy, and one of the three musketeers when they're around.
