Well, after months of planning, a couple of white lies, and some sweat, blood, and tears, we somehow managed to pull off a"surprise" 60th birthday party for my dad. I say surprise in quotation marks because it was only a partial surprise by the time it was all said and done. Still, it was a great party and a McArthur Family Reunion to remember. All of my immediate family was there, as well as my dad's mom, step-dad, and all of his brothers. In other words, we had family there from as far as Florida, Washington DC, Texas, Oklahoma, and Minnesota. It was awesome!!
