Prior to going on our latest Disney adventure, the kids had one other outing I failed to mention previously. Rather than flying out of Bismarck when we traveled to Florida, we instead bought half price plane tickets out of Minneapolis and took advantage of an opportunity to do some shopping down at my favorite mall before we left. While we were there, we also got to reconnect with some old friends. They drove up after school and we shopped, played, ate, and rode rides.
Here are the little friends:
Madison and Abbie
Spencer and Josh
EmmaLee and Kelly
And poor Mason was on his own tonight since Allison stayed home sick. Even at his young age, you could tell he felt left out. He and Allie are the farthest apart of our children, and being the youngest, we haven't got to see their friendship blossom quite as much as the other kids. It will be interesting to see if as they grow they are as close as all of the others. Interesting, but as everyone knows, required. They are, after all, the only set of our children that came out opposite gendered. And that can only mean one thing--betrothal!
Our children and the Andersen children go back as far as children can go back, and they are counting the days until they too make the move to Bismarck. Then, once our houses our done, (Which happen to be only four houses apart!) they will never be separated again!
