Central Park, New York

A few days after we bid farewell to Washington D.C., we made our seventh and final trip to another great American destination--New York City, New York. In many ways, we feel like we're right in the suburbs of this great city. We have visited New York City more than any other east coast location, and we have begun to feel at home there. It is hard to leave it with no plans to return in the near future. Our final trip to the city, excepting a few stopovers in some of the big city stores, (a.k.a. The American Girl Store, etc.) was spent entirely in spacious and beautiful Central Park. Our family has a number of Easter traditions, one of which is a Easter Eve picnic. This year we took our picnic to Central Park, leisurely strolling the walking trails, stopping here and there to eat, and playing on the hills, rocks, and playgrounds. The kids loved the outing, and it was an Easter Eve picnic to remember.
