Happy Valentine's Day

While most of our posts since we got to Florida have been of theme parks and our Disney cruise, we did spend a fair bit of time just hanging out at the condo too.

The kids got the rare chance to watch cartoons, sleep in, and go swimming almost every
day.

They also got the chance to play with the Winder and Gillette children much more than they would have had we all been back at home.  In fact, since Valentine's Day happened to fall during our visit, we even organized a little Valentine's party so that all of the kids could exchange Valentines.  We started the party with my kids' favorite breakfast--french nutella and berry crepes--mmmmm.  Then we decorated sugar cookies,

and Valentine mailboxes,

and let all of the kids pass out their goodies.

They ended up getting all sorts of treats; it was almost like Halloween.  They were sure happy little kiddo afterwards too.  All of the other kids felt better about missing their school Valentine's parties, and of course, we managed to score yet another year of having someone other than ourselves to celebrate with.  Hooray!  I don't know how long we will be that lucky, but we'll take it while we can.
