Reagan Nicole McArthur

Well, after wrapping up all of our activities and affairs in Rochester, the time finally came to put the last of our boxes in our storage unit and pack our suitcases once again, but this time for the last leg of our residency journey.  Since our house was already sold, we scheduled an away rotation in Arizona for the month of June, our last month of residency.  And since Nick had an especially busy schedule and a week-long conference in Texas during the latter part of May, the kids and I decided to head out to my parent's house a few weeks ahead of schedule.  I could hardly believe that our time in Rochester was over, but on the 15th of May, the kids and I said our tearful good-byes to all of our friends and started the long drive from Minnesota to Northern Arizona.

Gratefully, we managed to coordinate a brief stop-over in my old hometown of Edmond, Oklahoma that helped to break up the drive.  My parents were already there helping Kyle get situated in his new place when we arrived. We lent a hand as well, and then after dropping Nick off at the airport, made the rest of the drive to Arizona together.  The highlight of our stop-over; however, was getting acquainted with one of the newest members of the McArthur family--Kyle's daughter Reagan.  She was born back in December, but this was our first chance to meet the mini-Kyle in person.  She was a total doll, and my own girls couldn't keep their hands off of her.

I did manage to steal her for a little bonding time, but mostly she just wanted to be with her Daddy.

She is a cutie, and it was great to see Kyle in his new role as Mr. Mom!
