were rather stunning,
but not quite as stunning as Nick and I were as we donned our wet suits and prepared to plunge into the icy lake water. (He made me put this picture on here!)
Our children were much better sports than we were, braving the freezing water bare skinned. They didn't seem to mind though.
Actually, I think they had bigger problems to worry about than the icy water. For instance, surviving this crazy little driver!
They did survive though, and after a ride or two on the tube, and a spin around on Uncle Ralph and Aunt Brenda's new kiddie jet skis,
the kids simply parked themselves on the beach.
The kids always look forward to visiting "the grandpa and grandma with the boat," and this visit did not disappoint!
