Maybe Someday

This might look like just a random shot of Maddi and Spence playing outside, but it's actually quite a significant photo. While it may be hard for the unfamiliar eye to tell, this is actually a photo of my two older children standing on the temple lot in Jackson County, Missouri. We made a stopover here on our way to Uncle Kyle's wedding in Oklahoma. The temple lot doesn't look like much right now, but as we sat on the lot and talked about the beautiful temple that would stand here just prior to Christ's second coming, the spirit was very strong. I couldn't help but wonder if maybe someday we would be part of the team that helped to build up this temple and the whole city of Zion. I can only hope, with all of my heart, might, mind, and strength, that such will be the case.
