Memorial Day Bike Ride and Picnic

Last year for Easter, the Easter Bunny graced our family with a set of bikes. Nick and I got bikes, Maddi got a bike, Spence and Emma got the bike trailer, and Mason got a bike seat. It lead to us becoming somewhat of a biking family. With Maddi still struggling to ride on her own; however, we haven't been able to go very far or very fast. As a result, this year we acquired a "hitch-hiker," one of those hook on bikes. With Maddi on the hitch-hiker, we can suddenly take our bikes just about anywhere. So, for Memorial Day weekend, we decided to take a trip down to the quaint little town of Lanesboro, Minnesota. They have some really beautiful bike trails there, not to mention a world famous pie shop right off of the trail! We packed lunches and invited some of our good friends to go with us. It turned out to be a beautiful day trip.
