Well, we couldn't celebrate Christmas in the new house, but we did decide to bring in the New Year there. The kids and I watched a movie on our mini DVD player, by glowing firelight, and Nick worked his tail end off on the girls' bead board. At midnight we toasted in the New Year and the new house. Then the kids and I headed back to the rental house while Nick stayed up and finished the girls' room. It wasn't much of a celebration, but it was celebrated with family, and in the new house. Hopefully next year we can have a few more friends over for the celebration, and maybe even some flooring and furniture.
